Insert or remove the connector to/from FOMA terminal slowly and firmly without forcing it. ALWAYS
press the release buttons while removing the connector from the FOMA terminal. Pulling on the
connector with undue force can cause damage.
･
Insert or remove the AC adapter connector straight to/from FOMA terminal.
Use the FOMA AC adapter 01 (optional) to charge the battery. Also it can be used with the desktop
cradle D01 (optional).
You can charge the battery with FOMA terminal either closed or open.

The battery pack can only be charged when it is attached to FOMA terminal.

Charging the battery with the AC adapter alone

When inserting FOMA terminal into the desktop cradle, be careful not to put a strap in the cradle.

When FOMA terminal is not inserted firmly or it leans, the battery is not charged normally. Insert
FOMA terminal.
Use the FOMA DC adapter 01 (optional) to charge the battery in a car. It can be used with negative
ground cars (both 12 V and 24 V).

Insert the cigarette lighter plug of the DC adapter into the cigarette lighter socket of the car.
Charging from a wall outlet

Unfold the power plug from the AC
adapter and plug it into a 100 V AC
outlet.

Open the external connection
terminal cover of FOMA terminal.
c Insert the AC adapter connector in
firmly until it clicks.

Confirm that charging starts.
Confirm that the call indicator lights red.
When charging is completed, remove the
AC adapter connector from FOMA terminal
while pressing the release buttons on both
sides of the connector, and unplug the AC
adapter from the outlet. Then close the
terminal cover.

Unfold the power plug from the AC
adapter and plug it into a 100 V AC
outlet.

Insert the AC adapter connector in the
desktop cradle until it clicks.

Insert the FOMA terminal at an angle,
and sliding it along the back of the
desktop cradle, as shown in the figure.

Confirm that charging starts.
Confirm that the call indicator lights red.
When charging is completed, hold the
desktop cradle in one hand, tilt the FOMA
terminal forward, and then remove it from
the desktop cradle by sliding it up along
the back of the cradle.
