Using the desktop cradle
Antenna for receiving mobile broadcasts (commercially available) and speakers, etc., can be connected to the
Desktop Cradle D01 (sold separately). In this way, when indoors, you can easily listen to MobaHO! broadcast,
music, and the FM Radio, charge the FOMA terminal or connect to a PC.

FOMA AC adapter 01 (sold separately)
By connecting this adapter, you can recharge the FOMA terminal by simply placing it in the
Desktop cradle.

FM antenna (supplied by cooperating manufacturers: included with the Desktop Cradle D01)
By connecting the FM antenna, you can listen to the FM Radio by simply placing the FOMA
terminal in the Desktop cradle.

Personal computer
Use a commercial USB cable to connect the Desktop cradle to a PC and you can transfer music
data to the FOMA terminal and send/receive data back and forth.

The Desktop cradle has a B-type USB jack.

It is not possible to transfer music file to the FOMA terminal or send/receive data back and forth
by connecting the Desktop cradle to a PC with the included USB cable or the FOMA USB cable
(sold separately).

Do not use USB cables to connect the PC to both the Desktop cradle’s USB jack and the FOMA
terminal’s auxiliary jack. DoCoMo cannot guarantee operation when both jacks are connected
simultaneously.

Speakers with amplifier (commercially available)
By connecting speakers with an amplifier to the speaker jack (3.5 mm stereo mini jack), you can
switch sound output to those speakers by simply placing the FOMA terminal in the Desktop cradle.

While outputting sound to external speakers, sound output to those external speaker will be given
priority over the FOMA terminal’s Sound output setting, and the terminal's earphone/microphone
jack will also be unavailable for use.
･
As long as there are no speakers with an amplifier connected, you will be able to use the FOMA
terminal’s speaker and earphones even with the terminal in the Desktop cradle.
･ Sound will be output from speakers with an amplifier even during the Silent Mode.
･
It is recommended that you use speakers with a volume adjustment function built into the
amplifier. (The FOMA terminal speaker only outputs at one set volume. However, no sound will
be output from the speakers either if that volume is set to “level 0”.)
* Depending on the performance of the speakers, the audio may sound broken or interference
noise generated.
