Remove the
KA46 System
Module
To remove the KA46 system module from the BA46 system
enclosure, complete the following steps:

Action
1
Disconnect the SCSI and power cables from the system
module.

Remove the system module (CPU) by lifting the front
slightly, so that it clears the two stops at the front right
and left of the module.
3
Using the large center connector, pull the module toward
the front of the system enclosure so that it is free of the
five base latches, then lift the module out of the system
enclosure.
4
If present, remove the four standoffs for the
TURBOchannel adapter module.
5
Place the system module on the antistatic mat.
