The Menus
■
IPEI
: You can read the interna-
tional handset identification
code (IPEI: International Porta-
ble Equipment Identity).
Please note:
The handset can be
operated with a maximum of ten
communication systems. Before you
can make a call via the system, the
handset has to be registered in the
respective system (enrolment). A
system ID and access code may be
necessary for the enrolment proc-
ess. Ask the respective system ad-
ministrator for the valid code.
Telephone Option
: This menu
contains further device-specific set-
tings.

Auto Key Lock
: Use
OK
to acti-
vate (
“
) or deactivate automatic
keypad lock. When the auto-
matic keypad lock is active, the
keypad lock is automatically
switched on if you do not use
the device for more than
60 seconds in the idle state.
■
Key Click
: For each key opera-
tion a short signal tone can be
activated. With
OK
you activate
(
“
) or deactivate the key click.
■
Alarm:
You can set a time be-
tween 00:00 and 23:59 at which
time the handset will emit an
acoustic signal. The signal type
is defined by the ringer tone set-
ting for external calls. The alarm
signal lasts approximately one
minute and can be switched off
by pressing any digit key. After
each signalled alarm, you will
need to reactivate the alarm
again.

Set
: Here you enter the wake
time, for example 12:15. Con-
firm your input with
OK
.

Active
: With
OK
you activate
(
“
) or deactivate the alarm.
Please note:
When the alarm is ac-
tive, the idle display shows an alarm
symbol ( ) next to the time.

Emergency Opt.
: In this menu
you can set the options for the
emergency call and the emer-
gency call key (see also
Manual
Emergency Call (SOS Call)
start-
ing on page 46).

Emergency Number
: Here
you enter the call number that
will be called when the emer-
gency call key is pressed or
when a mandown call is made.
Confirm your input with
OK
.

Man Down Call
: The mand-
own call (see also page 47) is ini-
tiated when the position sensor
of the handset is triggered. With
OK
you activate (

) or deactivate
this function.

Silent Alarm
: The mandown
call can, without any extra pre-
alarm, be triggered by the hand-
