Important Note
In accordance with your safety prac-
tice requirements, we advice you to
please pay attention to the follow-
ing:
Operating your telephone in the op-
erations type emergency call with
warning tone (i.e. “Silent alarm” is
switched off) means that calls con-
tinue to be signalled during the
30 second warning time. The warn-
ing tone will be repeated for a fur-
ther 30 seconds after the completion
of the call or conversation and be-
fore the emergency call number will
be dialled. Because of this, a delay
can occur before the emergency call
is made. Therefore in sensitive safety
areas switch on the “Silent alarm”
menu item, so that an emergency
call is made immediately.

Auto Answer
: If an headset is
plugged in then a connection is
automatically created, you can
make hands free calls. If the
caller hangs up then the connec-
tion will be disconnected.
Please note:
If you are not using
the headset, then please deactivate
this function as unnoticed listening-
in by a caller is possible.
If no headset is connected and
for an incoming call the tele-
phone is removed from the
charging station, then the call is
answered without pressing the
receiver key

Silent Charging
: The handset
does not signal any calls as long
as it is in the charger. This ap-
plies to acoustic signalling via
the ringer, to visual signalling
and the vibration signalling.
Callers hear a busy tone. As soon
as you remove the handset from
the charger, calls are signalled
again. With
OK
you can activate

“
) or deactivate this function.

Coverage Warn.
: The coverage
warning sounds a warning tone
when leaving the radio range.
Use
OK
to activate (
“
) or deacti-
vate this function.
■
User Name
: Here you enter or
edit the name that appears on
the display when the handset is
in the idle state. Use the
OK
softkey to save the setting.
