8.5 - REAR WHEEL

ENSURE THAT THE MOTOR-
CYCLE IS SUPPORTED FIRMLY,
AND THERE IS NO RISK OF IT
FALLING.

PUT THE MOTORCYCLE ON A
FLAT SURFACE.

IF THE BRAKE LEVER/PEDAL IS
APPLIED WITHOUT THE WHEEL
BEING FITTED, THE CORRESPON-
DING SYSTEM WILL HAVE TO BE
BLED.

REMOVAL

1. Remove:

- One of the 2 wheel shaft nuts (1).

2. Remove:

- Wheel shaft (2), releasing:

- The brake calliper (3) and bracket.
- The wheel.
- The spacer (4) (left-hand side).
- The chain (5).

3. Remove:

- The brake disk.
- The drag plate.
