3 - MAINTENANCE

ADJUSTING THE CLUTCH LEVER

1. Check:

- Clutch lever play (A).

Clearance (clutch lever):

10 - 15mm at the end of the lever.

Outside that specified => Adjust.

2. Adjust:

- Clutch cable play.

Adjustment steps:

1. Loosen:

- Turn the locknut (2).

2. Turn:

- The adjustor (1) inwards or outwards until the specified play
is obtained

Turning inwards (B) => Increasing the play.

Turning outwards (A) = > Reducing the play.

- Tighten the securing nut (2).

ADJUSTING IDLE SPEED (IDLE SPEED)

1. Controlar:

- The idle speed value, which is within the value 1,680 ± 50,
after the engine has been running for a few minutes.

Outside that specified => Adjust.

Turning inwards (A) => Increases the rpm
Turning outwards (opposite direction to A) => Decreases the rpm
