10.9 - FITTING NEW COMPONENTS

CHANGING THE DIODE

DISMANTLING

1. Firstly remove:

* The seat, the pillion passenger seat, the upper cowling cover
and the cowling.

2. Disconnect:

- The diode.

CHANGING THE REGULATOR

DISMANTLING

1. Remove:

- The front bolt on the tank and tilt it backwards.

2. Remove:

- The two bolts securing the regulator to the chassis.

3. Disconnect:

- The regulator from the wiring system.
