- A little engine oil to the camshaft supports.
- The camshafts onto their housings:
- The inlet camshaft (88).
- The exhaust camshaft (89).

60. Fit:
- The camshaft bridge (91).
- The 8 bolts (92) into the camshaft bridge (tighten them
by following a cross pattern).
The bolts (camshaft bridge):
1-1,2 kgf.m (10-12 N.m)
- The locking pins (93).

61. Fit:
- The piston at top dead centre (TDC) on the compression
stroke. To do so, turn the crankshaft in an
anticlockwise di-
rection
with an Allen key until the mark (94) is lined up with
the mark to be found on the flywheel (95).
TURN THE CRANKSHAFT IN AN
ANTICLOCKWISE DIRECTION.
ATTEMPTING TO TURN IT IN THE
OPPOSITE DIRECTION MAY CAU-
SE SERIOUS DAMAGE TO THE EN-
GINE.
