Default Configuration

This command has no default configuration.

Command Mode

Global Configuration mode

User Guidelines

If an encrypted password is specified on a line, the range of the password length changes to 1-
32 characters.

Example

The following example defines local level 15 password "dell" to control access to user and privilege 
levels.

 global configuration command establishes a username-based authentication system. 

To remove a user name use the

 form of this command.
