Syntax

sntp client enable

no sntp client enable

Default Configuration

Client is disabled on an interface.

Command Mode

Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel, VLAN) mode

User Guidelines

Use the 

sntp broadcast client enable

 global configuration command to enable Broadcast 

clients globally.

Use the 

sntp anycast client enable

 global configuration command to enable Anycast clients 

globally.

Examples

The following example enables SNTP Broadcast and Anycast clients on the interface.

The 

sntp unicast client enable

 global configuration command enables clients to use Simple 

Network Time Protocol (SNTP) predefined Unicast clients. To disable SNTP Unicast clients, use 
the

 form of this command.
