Replacing the DC-in Power Assembly
CAUTION:
Before working inside your computer, read the safety information that shipped with your

1. Position the DC -in power assembly in the computer base, aligning the guides on the connector sides with the base.
2. Reconnect the DC -in power assembly to the connector on the underside of the system board.
3. Replace the system board (see
Replacing the System Board Assembly
).
4. Reconnect and reseat the coin-cell battery in the system board (see
Replacing the Coin-Cell Battery
).
5. Reconnect the speaker assembly cable.
6. Reconnect the smart card cable.
7. Replace the optical drive (see

8. Replace the system fan (see

).
9. Replace the palm rest (see
