15.1 Introduction
15.1.1 Introduction
You can back up or restore selected features from the controller. You can also create a complete local copy (Offline project)
of the controller settings. The information can be restored to the controller directly or broadcast to other controllers in the
network.
15.1.2 Backing up information
Note the following when backing up information:
• The backup is created for the connected and logged on controller and NOT the entire system.
• Controller info is ALWAYS backed up as part of the features.
15.1.3 Back up or restore restrictions
Keep the following restrictions in mind when creating or restoring a Backup file:
CAUTION
When restoring information, the controller or system MUST always be placed into switchboard mode before
attempting to use restore.
• Event log cannot be restored.
• Alarms cannot be restored.
