This sets the type of interface protocol that will be used in Single Cable
RS-232.

Options are:

Scanner only RS-232 protocol

To set this feature:

1. Scan the SWITCH barcode.

2. Scan the barcode below representing the desired option. You’ll

need to cover any unused barcodes on this and the facing page to
ensure that the scanner reads only the barcode you intend to scan.

3. Complete the programming sequence by scanning the SWITCH

barcode.
