5.3 THE “AUTOFOCUS” WIZARD
The autofocus procedure allows setting:
a.
the autofocus position table: the table describing the autofocus position to be set at the
various heights;
b.
the sensitivity table: the table of the sensitivity to be set at the autofocus reference
speed.
This procedure should be performed during camera installation or for periodic system
checks.
To run the autofocus calibration procedure click on the “Auto-focus” icon in the Genius™
toolbar and follow the wizard instructions.

5.4 THE “PARALLELISM CHECK” WIZARD
This procedure can be executed after initial mounting of the camera to verify the parallelism
between the camera and the conveyor. In case an external mirror is used, this procedure
also verifies the mirror alignment.
To perform the parallelism check procedure click on the “Parallelism Check” icon from the
Genius™ toolbar and follow the steps given:

5.5 THE “LIGHT PROFILE EQUALIZATION” WIZARD
The camera has two Look-Up Tables used to compensate the light profile at two different
height ranges.
To perform this procedure click on the “Light Profile Equalization” icon on the Genius™
toolbar and follow the steps given.

5.6 THE “CHANNEL BALANCING” WIZARD
This wizard builds the table with the gain and offset values to configure each analogue
channel of the camera to obtain the various sensitivity levels (“Gain-Offset table”).
