3.4.2 Adjusting the Illuminator Position
A correct illuminator positioning is very important for best performance.
When no mounting cradle is used, fine positioning check and adjustment are required.
For each illuminator:
1. place the white reference target (part number 93ACC1370) at the maximum distance in
front of the camera that will use the illuminator;
2. connect Genius™ and run the “Oscilloscope” tool (see par. 4.3.1);
3. switch the illuminator on and switch all the other illuminators off;
4. loosen the illuminator adjusting screws;
5. position the illuminators until the maximum white level is obtained along the view line
as indicated in the oscilloscope window (see Figure 27);

6. fasten the illuminator adjusting screws.
