•
Enable Dynamic NATP: Enables NATP, translating addresses/ports of packets received by an
interface with a private network IP address into the fixed IP of the interface.
•
Enable Rip: Enables the use of the RIP protocol, to be selected individually via the interface.
•
Protect Local Routes: When enabled along with RIP, it avoids Intranet routes to be informed to
external hosts (Internet). It is effective only when RIP is enabled.
•
LAN Talk / WAN1 Talk / WAN2 Talk: Selects the protocol to be used to activate routes via the
routing interfaces. Options include RIPV1, RIPV2 or none.
•
LAN Listen / WAN1 Listen / WAN2 Listen: Selects the protocols through which the router can
learn new routes dynamically. Options are RIPV1, RIPV2, both or none.
9.4.5. WAN1 IP Configuration
Selecting Router Configuration
WAN1 IP Address, WAN1 IP configuration is started (next screen).
Note that, for these configurations to be effective, all devices should be configured to receive data in the
same channel, and the WAN1 port should be active (refer to items 9.2 and 9.4.2).
