Maintaining the printer

                    

User’s Guide for the ImageCard® IV Printer

After you remove the printhead cartridge, replace it with a new printhead.

Replace the printhead cartridge

Make sure the power for the printer is off. 

You can damage the printhead if you do not power off the printer.

Make sure that the ESD strap is on and connected to the printer, according to 
the instructions on the package.

Remove the new printhead cartridge from the packaging.

3

With the bar of the printhead cartridge toward the middle of the printer, pass the 
connector and printhead cable through to the back of the printhead cage 
(
