SP Series Info Central: Troubleshooting
The laminate patch shows
opaque areas at the leading
edge of the card (clouds).
The temperature for applying
the supply material is too
high.
Decrease the laminator card
registration setting
to reduce
the impact of the temperature
at the beginning of lamination.
Laminate patch extends
beyond one of the short
edges of the card.
The rollers are dirty.
There was slack in the supply
material.
The supply material was
wound incorrectly to the take-
up spool.
The card registration or foil
registration settings are not
correct for your current
materials.
Run a cleaning card and then
change the cleaning sleeve
.
Apply material on another card.
If the problem repeats, go to
the next solution.
The next card should process
correctly. If it does not, remove
the cartridge and turn the take-
up spool clockwise several
turns.
Contact your service provider
for guidance in changing the
laminator card or
If you cannot fix the problem,
contact your service provider.
