
10.1.3 Mounting of Options in Slot C
The power to the frequency converter must be discon-
nected.
It is strongly recommended to make sure the parameter
data is saved (i.e. by MCT 10 software ) before option
modules are inserted/removed from the drive.
When installing a C option, a mounting kit is required.
Please refer to the

section for a list of
ordering numbers. The installation is illustrated using MCB
112 as an example. For more information on installation of
MCO 305, see separate operating instructions.

10.2.1 Galvanic Isolation in the MCB 101
Digital/analog inputs are galvanically isolated from other
inputs/outputs on the MCB 101 and in the control card of
the frequency converter. Digital/analog outputs in the MCB
101 are galvanically isolated from other inputs/outputs on
the MCB 101, but not from these on the control card of
the drive.
If the digital inputs 7, 8 or 9 are to be switched by use of
the internal 24V power supply (terminal 9) the connection
