Maintenance
1) Maintenance 1: Maintenance surrounding the outdoor unit
Continuous operation is not possible
1. Turn the booster unit's operation SW OFF, and turn the power to the booster OFF.
Turn the operation switch of the outdoor unit OFF. After the outdoor unit has stopped, turn
the power to the outdoor unit OFF.
Turn the power to the freezer/refrigeration showcase OFF.
2. Remove the control box.
3. Close stop valve A, then close D, E and B.
4. Recover the refrigerant inside the compressor using service ports a, b, c and d and
maintenance valves A and B (
framed portion)

After replacing the compressor, check the WET/DRY of the moisture indicator. If indicating
WET, replace the dryer positioned on the onsite pipe. For dryer replacement on onsite
liquid pipelines refer to maintenance 7.
5. Conduct air tight test.
6. Conduct evacuation via service ports b, c and d and maintenance valves A and B.
(At this time, if the addition of oil is required, fill oil using port a.)
7. While leaving the operation SW OFF, turn the power to the outdoor unit ON. Next, turn the
operation switch of the outdoor unit ON. (If using a remote switch, turn to remote.)
Turn the booster unit power ON, then turn the booster operation switch ON. (If using a
remote switch, turn to remote.)
Turn the freezer/refrigeration showcase power ON.
8. Fill the portion recovered with additional refrigerant.
Subject components
• Compressor (M1C, M2C, M3C)
• Y3E, Y4E, Y5E
• Four way valve A, B, C
• High pressure switch (HPS 1 to 3), low pressure switch (LPS1)
Caution:
If C1 or C2 is shut, the onsite liquid
pipe-line will become obstructed.
Do NOT shut C1 or C2.
A: Discharge line maintenance valve B: Injection line maintenance valve
C1: Refrigeration-side liquid stop valve C2: Air conditioning side liquid stop valve
D: Refrigeration-side gas stop valve E: Air conditioning side gas stop valve a, b, c: Service ports
Conduct repairs or replacement of subject components.
