CONVENI-PACK
3) Maintenance 3: Maintenance of freezer showcase and booster unit
Continuous operation is possible in refrigerator/air-conditioner
1. Close liquid inlet maintenance valve G.
2. During compressor error wait 1 minute, for all other errors after the compressor has been
stopped close discharge maintenance valve F.
(Please ensure you follow step (1) and step (2) in this order (this is to prevent liquid
obstructions))
3. Turn the freezer showcase power OFF. Turn the booster operation switch OFF, then turn the
booster power OFF.
4. Recover refrigerant from the liquid inlet maintenance valve G and booster discharge
maintenance valve F. (
framed portion)
∗
After replacing the compressor, check WET/DRY of the moisture indicator. If indicating
WET, replace the dryer positioned on the onsite pipe. For dryer replacement on onsite
liquid pipelines refer to maintenance 7.
5. Conduct air tight test via service port e and liquid inlet maintenance valve G.
6. Conduct evacuation via liquid inlet maintenance valve G and booster discharge
maintenance valve F.
7. Fill as much refrigerant as possible from maintenance valve G. (If the booster compressor
has been replaced, +0.5L of refrigerant oil must be added using the charging cylinder.
Furthermore, if the refrigerant was recovered in liquid form, filling of additional refrigerant oil
of 5% of the recovery volume is required.)
However, if the subject components are Y1E or Y2E, please do not add refrigerant. (This is
because the EV may possibly be open)
8. After evacuation is complete, open liquid inlet maintenance valve G and booster discharge
maintenance valve F.
9. Turn ON the freezer showcase power. Next, turn the power to the booster ON, then after 5
minutes turn the booster operation switch ON. (If using a remote switch, turn to remote.)
10.Fill the portion recovered with additional refrigerant.
