Troubleshooting
CONVENI-PACK

2) Maintenance 2: Maintenance around the receiver
Continuous operation is not possible
1. Turn the booster unit's operation SW OFF, and turn the power to the booster OFF.
Turn the operation switch of the outdoor unit OFF. After the outdoor unit has stopped, turn
the power to the outdoor unit OFF.
Turn the power to the freezer/refrigeration showcase OFF.
2. Remove the control box.
3. Close stop valve C1, D and E. (Be cautious of liquid obstructions in the onsite connection
pipes. Furthermore, in order to prevent any liquid obstruction, remove a small amount of
refrigerant in the onsite connection pipes. (As a guideline, remove approximately 20% of
refrigerant from the refrigeration-side liquid pipe portion))
4. Recover the refrigerant using service ports a, b, c and d and maintenance valves A, B and C2.

∗
Check the WET/DRY of the moisture indicator. If indicating WET, replace the dryer
positioned on the onsite pipe. For dryer replacement on onsite liquid pipelines refer to
maintenance 7.
5. Conduct air tight test.
6. Conduct evacuation via service ports b, c and d and maintenance valves A, B and C2.
(At this time, if the addition of oil is required, fill oil using port a. (If the refrigerant was
recovered in liquid form, filling of additional refrigerant oil of 5% of the recovery volume is
required.))
7. Place as much refrigerant as can be filled through maintenance valve A.
8. After evacuation is complete, open stop valves C1, C2 and E.
9. While leaving the operation SW OFF, turn the power to the outdoor unit ON. Next, turn the
operation switch of the outdoor unit ON.
(If using a remote switch, turn to remote.)
Turn the booster unit power ON, then turn the booster operation switch ON. (If using a remote
switch, turn to remote.)
Turn the refrigeration/freezer showcase power ON.
10.Fill the recovered portion with additional refrigerant.
