Verify that all power is shut down.
Conduct evacuation from the service ports of stop valves

,

and

of the outdoor unit.
Evacuation should be conducted over approximately 1 hour, confirming the vacuum is sucking. (Under -0.1 MPa)
Open a hole in the can of oil, then insert the piping to the bottom of the can. Quickly close any air gaps around the
piping with the waste cloth ensuring the oil is not exposed to the air. (Refer to diagram on previous page) - The hole
you make in the can should be large enough that you can visually confirm that the amount of oil is depleting.
Watching as the oil is emptied from the can, once the weighing scales indicate the oil has depleted by 0.94 kg (1.0
liters), remove the adaptor from the service port. – Standard time taken for 1 liter of oil to be filled: approximately 20
minutes in the summer.
Resume evacuation.
Open all stop valves in the outdoor unit.
<In case of the outdoor unit is placed above>
(1) Confirm the liquid piping capacity is greater than the volume of refrigeration oil to be charged.
(2) Evacuate from the liquid stop valve on the refrigeration side of the outdoor unit.
(3) Charge oil from the liquid stop valve of the booster unit.
