15. Replacing the battery
We recommend using high-quality alkaline batteries only.
For reasons of safety, replace batteries every 12 months. The "old" batteries can then be
used in non-critical devices (e.g. clocks, remote controls etc.).
a) Alarm dialler "AW50"
If the alarm dialler has set off the voice message "Battery empty", then replace all the batteries of the
alarm dialler with new ones.
To do this, open the battery compartment on the rear of the appliance, remove the spent batteries
and insert four new miniature (AA) batteries, observing correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-). Also pay
attention to the markings in the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment.
b) "KeyMatic CAC"
