Server Operation
IMPORTANT:
These instructions are for use with Pentium II Xeon and
Pentium III Xeon processor-based servers only.
The ProLiant 6000 Server provides easy access to all internal components for
installation and maintenance. The information below provides details
concerning system power and power supply indicators and removal of the
server access panels.
WARNING:
The power supplies in the ProLiant 6000 produce
hazardous energy levels. The installation of options and the
routine maintenance and service of this product should be
performed by individuals who are knowledgeable of the
procedures, precautions, and hazards associated with equipment
containing hazardous energy circuits.
NOTE
: All Compaq ProLiant servers support server management features
that provide in-depth monitoring, analysis, and control of the fault performance
and configuration aspects of Compaq servers. Refer to the Compaq Server
Reference Library CD for information about server management features, flash
ROM, and the Compaq Insight Manager.
