Cabling the Server
1.
Connect the power cord(s), any options (such as a modem), and any
peripheral devices (such as the keyboard, mouse, and monitor). Wrap
the AC cord on the loop provided on the power supply to prevent the
cord from being accidentally disengaged.

WARNING:
To reduce the risk of electric shock or damage to
the equipment:
■
Install the power supply before connecting the power cord to
the power supply.
■
Unplug the power cord before removing the power supply
from the server.
■
If the system has multiple power supplies, disconnect power
from the system by unplugging all power cords from the
power supplies.
■
Do not disable the power cord grounding plug. The
grounding plug is an important safety feature.
■
Plug the power cord into a grounded (earthed) electrical
outlet that is easily accessible at all times.
