Remove the appropriate memory expansion board by rotating the
ejectors outward
and pulling the board out

To install DIMMs, refer to the Hardware Installation and Configuration
Poster included in the shipping box, the Processor Board Configuration
Label located on the inside of the right side access panel, or the
procedure in the following section.

To reassemble the server, reverse steps 1 through 4.
NOTE
: The memory expansion boards are part of the system interlock chain
and must be seated properly for server start up. Ensure that the memory
expansion board service bracket is reinstalled after installing the board(s). For
more information see the “System Interlocks” section in Chapter 3, “Server
Operation.”
