CAUTION:

components. Be sure you are properly grounded before beginning
any installation procedure. See Appendix B, “Electrostatic
Discharge,” for more information.
Removing the Blanking Panel
To remove the blanking panel:
1.
If the server is on, place the server in Standby and disconnect the power
cord(s).
2.
Unlock and open the front bezels (front doors). Refer to the steps in
Chapter 3.
3.
Remove the top access panel. Refer to the steps in Chapter 3.
4.
Remove blanking panel screw, using a T-15 Torx screw driver.
5.
Remove the blanking panel by pushing the top of the panel outward first.
This panel will not be needed after installing the Integrated Management
Display.
