Set the date and time as described in Section 6.4.1 before setting up the hard
disk.

1.

 

From CMOS Setup press F10 to return to the AlphaBIOS Setup screen.

2.

 

Select Hard Disk Setup and press Enter.

3.

 

Use the arrow keys to select the drive that you want to prepare for Windows
NT installation.

4.

 

Press F7 to perform an express setup on the hard disk that is highlighted.

5.

 

Press F10 to commit and verify the hard disk setup operation.

CAUTION: Pressing F10 destroys the contents of the disk drive.  Be sure

you have selected the drive that you want to prepare before
pressing F10.
