On the CNAP
®
Monitor the user can select to display the blood pressure waveform or the trend
view alternatively. The view can be switched by clicking the frame right beside the signal/trend
view once (see illustration 31). It is also possible to switch over by pressing the Main Screen button
while no menu is displayed on the screen.
The CNAP
®
Monitor 500 automatically displays the parameters
Sys, MAP, Dia
and
CO
in the
Trend frame
on the main screen. Trends can be displayed as graphic as well as numeric trends.
The display of a list of physiological alarms is optional.
NOTE:
•
The recorded parameters
Sys, MAP, Dia
and
CO (can be changed by the
user)
are saved on a beat-to-beat or averaged basis for a maximum of 24 hours.
•
Saved recordings can be displayed in the
Trend frame
at any time (see chapter
7.2.1 – Trend views).
STOP:
•
Discharge:
When a patient is discharged, all recorded data, including the parame-
ters
as well as the
Alarm History
are irretrievably deleted.
•
Print report
:
The setup and configuration of the
Trend frame
also determine the
selection and the display of the
print reports (Graphic Trend Report, Nu-
meric Trend Report
and
Alarm History Report).
Thus, before starting a
print report
, make sure that the data in the
Trend frame
display is equivalent
to the data you wish to include in your print report concerning, for instance, ampli-
tude, time scale and displayed time span (see chapter 8 – Printing).
