Graphics Aperture (Advanced Menu>Advanced Chipset Control)
The AGP aperture is an area of system RAM reserved for use by the comput-
er’s video system for storing textures if it needs. The RAM is available for use
by the system as normal if not used by the video system. The recommended
setting is
64MB
, and this is the default setting. This setting should not be set
lower than
32MB
.
TV System
(Advanced Menu>Advanced Chipset Control)
This item allows you to switch between
NTSC
and
PAL
TV systems when
connecting a TV to the S-Video Out port.
TV Scan MODE
(Advanced Menu>Advanced Chipset Control)
This item allows you to change the TV Scan Line Mode Option for a TV con-
nected to the S-Video-Out port (check your TV manual if you are unsure of
the setting).
Embedded Modem Device/Audio Device/1394 Device (Advanced Menu
>Advanced Chipset Control)
These items allow you to disable these devices, should you need to do so.
