Removing the Upper Air Grille and Vertical Brackets
This section describes how to remove the upper air grille and vertical brackets from the rear (MSC) side of
the LCC,
Prerequisites
Before performing these tasks, ensure that the LCC power is off.
Required Tools and Equipment
You need the following tool to perform this task:
• 6-inch large Phillips screwdriver
Steps
To remove the upper air grille and vertical brackets from the rear (MSC) side of the chassis, perform the
following steps:
SUMMARY STEPS
1.
Remove the upper air grille by unsnapping the bottom portion from the ball stud snaps on the vertical
mounting brackets.
2.
Rotate the grille toward you on its hook hanger brackets, and then lift it clear of the brackets.
3.
Set it carefully aside.
4.
Using the large Phillips screwdriver, loosen the three panel fasteners on the two short vertical brackets
installed on the rear of the chassis.
5.
Remove the vertical brackets and carefully set them aside.
DETAILED STEPS
Step 1
Remove the upper air grille by unsnapping the bottom portion from the ball stud snaps on the vertical mounting brackets.
Step 2
Rotate the grille toward you on its hook hanger brackets, and then lift it clear of the brackets.
Step 3
Set it carefully aside.
Step 4
Using the large Phillips screwdriver, loosen the three panel fasteners on the two short vertical brackets installed on the
rear of the chassis.
Step 5
Remove the vertical brackets and carefully set them aside.
Removing the Rear Kick Panel
This section describes how to remove the rear kick panel from the rear side of the LCC.
Prerequisites
