Overview
The 802.1Q standard defines that VLAND may have up to 4096 members. If however a network is larger
than 4096 VLAN

s, then the allocation of VLAN-Ids is subjected to various restrictions. In order to
resolve this problem, the XLR 550 supports MAC-In-MAC, and Q-In-Q
The example below shows that the XLR 550 transmits
