buttons on footboard. Amber LED on patient lock-out button
prevents the bed operation from the rail controls and pendant

Bed will not lower all the way
1.
Check to see if the Bed UP/DOWN function is locked out on the
footboard
2.
Check to see if bed is in Trendelenburg or Reverse Trendelenburg
position. For patient safety, bed remains at the angle established
by staff whenever the bed is raised and lowered. If the bed is in
TREND/rev.TREND, it will not lower past the preset TREND
/rev.TREND safety zone (minimum mattress deck elevation of 15”).
If the bed is angled, level bed by pressing opposite TREND button.
The bed will automatically stop when the mattress deck is in the
horizontal position
HINT: A slight Trendelenburg or Reverse Trendelenburg angle may not
be easily visible. If the bed appears “stuck” at a bed elevation of
approximately 15”, briefly press and hold the TREND button to achieve a
slight bed angle, then hold the rev.TREND button until the bed
automatically stops at level. Then, lower the bed using the Bed DOWN
button
OR
Use the “Hi-Lo Actuator Synchronization Feature”. Lower the bed
by pressing and holding the Bed DOWN button on either the staff rail
control or the pendant. The bed will first level the mattress deck. Once
level, the bed will automatically begin to lower
