Intended Use and Indication for Use

Compatibility
The ventilator is compatible for use with common advanced airways (i.e. ETT and breathing circuits)
intended for the invasive use of positive airway pressure ventilators.
The ventilator can be used with common airway temperature and humidification devices.
Serviceability
This device can be serviced by trained technical personnel for certain tasks. Only those tasks defined
in this user guide can be performed. Tasks beyond these must be done by CAE personnel or CAE-
approved personnel. Contact CAE Customer Service for more information, as needed.
This device can be cleaned and disinfected by any trained cleaning and reprocessing personnel using
common medical facility products and procedures.
Contraindications for Use
This device is not intended for use during patient transport, in flammable or explosive environments
or with anesthetic gases, in hyberbaric chambers or in magnetic resonance imaging areas.
It is not for use on pediatric patients.
