Care and Maintenance

See the

section of this user guide for information on how to change the 

passcode.

Settings Screen - Administrator Settings Unlocked

5. Select the 

Network

 button. If the colour of the Network button is blue, it is ready for software

update or log collection.

Updating the Software

Updating the software will be required periodically. The following equipment will be required:

• Laptop computer intended for ventilator maintenance use.

• Ethernet cable

To update the software from a web browser:

1. After activating the network on the ventilator, connect the laptop via the Ethernet cable

(attach the cable at the back of the ventilator).

2. Power on the laptop.

3. Launch the web browser.

4. From the browser enter the following address:

https://172.20.4.17:58080

Note: 

Default static IP of MPIC: 172.20.4.17

5. Select 

Go on to the web page.
