Once the file is selected, update starts.

When the update is complete, the device will reboot. The page will indicate that the
browser may be closed.

Logs Collection
There are four types of logs which can be collected from a web browser:
• Alarms Log - records all information regarding all alarms triggered and cleared. Refer to
Appendix D - Ventilator Fault Logs for details.
• Maintenance Log - a record of the self test result.
• System Log - records information intended only for CAE engineers.
• Platform Log - Any hardware malfunction will be shown in this log. Each error recorded in
the platform log has an ID associated with the entry and is defined in Appendix D -
Ventilator Fault Logs. R efer to this appendix for the lists of codes, error descriptions, and
appropriate actions for a technician to take for resolution.
