Using the Ventilator

Pause the Ventilator

When active ventilation is temporarily not needed, it can be placed in a standby, or paused, mode. 
The ventilator remains powered on and the settings of the last patient are retained.

To pause the ventilator:

1. On the Operation screen, tap the 

Standby

 button to suspend ventilation.

A confirmation window opens.

The Standby Ventilator Confirmation Window

2. Tap 

Yes, Standby

 to pause the ventilator function or tap 

Cancel 

to continue ventilator 

operation.

3. When the ventilator is in Standby mode, tap the 

Start 

button to resume ventilation.
