Fill the water tank or empty the waste water tank in the event of tank alarm
(see chapter 10).
When keys are pressed the LCD display is lit automatically.
Activating or deactivating
the tank alarm:
Press the tank menu key (Fig. 95,9).
Press the settings menu key (Fig. 95,3) for more than 3 seconds. The tank
settings menu is displayed.
Switch on ("ON") or switch off ("OFF") the tank alarm with the "+" and "–"
keys (Fig. 95,4 and 5) and confirm with the "OK" key (Fig. 95,6).
8.7 Solar installation (special equipment)
The solar installation provides an environmentally compatible power supply
independent of the mains. It converts energy from sunlight into electric current.
The solar installation supplies additional current for the battery and appli-
ances.
The solar charge regulator has an integrated overload protection as well as
deep discharge protection. The charging current is automatically reduced or
the appliances are switched off.
The operating indicator is by means of a green LED (Fig. 97,2). The voltage
display uses a multi-coloured LED (Fig. 97,1), which can vary from red to
green, ten colours in all.
When the tank sensors are defective, the tank menu appears and "?"
flashes.
Further information can be obtained from the separate "Control panel"
instruction manual.
Protect the solar collectors (solar module) against mechanical overload.
The solar installation supplies the most current under optimal sunlight con-
ditions.
Provide the solar collectors (solar module) open access to sunlight.
Sunlight is greater in the open air than under trees and bridges.
Tarpaulins block out sunlight.
Always keep collector surfaces free of contamination.
