Complete the following steps to connect the RM1250 and index adapter base to an existing index:

Remove cover and hardware from existing index. Set aside board assembly.

Place gasket on top of index.

Replace board assembly.

Place index adapter base over board assembly.

Before attaching the drive cover bracket, ensure that the magnet carousel is fully seated on the index (as
shown). None of the metal shaft should be visible. If the magnet carousel is not fully seated, carefully
press it down manually until fully seated. The carousel should spin freely when seated.
