To ensure strong communication to the cellular service, the
Radio SNR
reading should be
-105 or better.

Use Bullhorn Tools to complete the following configuration tasks on the unit:
•
View Unit Information
— the main Bullhorn Tools
Unit Overview
window displays current unit
information. You can also enable or disable Scaling by clicking the
Scaling
slider on the
Readings
line. When scaling is enabled, the accumulator value shown is equal to the
Accumulator Value
field
from the
Accumulator
settings pane. When disabled, the accumulator value shown is equal to the
Sensor Equivalent
field from the
Accumulator
settings pane. Refer to
Configure Readings
for more
information on these fields.
•
Load or Import a Template
— units can be configured from a previously-saved template that contains
unit settings. Current unit settings are overwritten by the applied template.
•
Set Reporting Schedule and Battery Information
— set a transmission schedule and set battery install
date.
•
Send Test Message
— send a test message to the unit to verify communications.
•
Enable or Disable Readings
— enable or disable the unit readings as necessary.
