The following information is an alphabetical list of technical terms and Bullhorn Tools fields identified in this
guide.

Accumulator Value
Input field in Bullhorn Tools where the user can assign a value to the Accumulator.
Bullhorn Tools
Program used to read measurements, set alarms, and view unit information.
Firmware
Version number of the firmware currently installed on the unit.
First Sensor Index to Register
A selectable field in Bullhorn Tools that is used with Units Per Pulse to calculate
Meter Factor.
GPS
Global Positioning System. Global navigation satellite system that provides
location and time information when three or more GPS satellites are in view.
IMEI
International Mobile Equipment Identity. Unique number assigned to the digital
cellular radio by the manufacturer for identification purposes.
Input Persistence
Input field in Bullhorn Tools that specifies the amount of time, in milliseconds,
that the unit will wait before re-sending an alarm.
Input State
The current state of the input; either
Open
or
Closed
.
Meter Factor
A calculated field in Bullhorn Tools that is based on Units Per Pulse and First
Sensor Index to Register.
Meter Factor
must be a whole number greater than 1. It
is used by the unit to calculate the accumulator value that is transmitted to
Bullhorn Web.
Model
The unit type, such as RM1250.
Polling Cycle
Polling cycle refers to how often the unit scans or reads input channels. Bullhorn
Tools scans input channels at regular intervals based on the hardware sampling of
the unit type.
Radio SNR
Satellite signal strength. Bullhorn Tools displays this value in the
Unit Overview
window.
Reporting
Scheduled data transmission at regular time intervals.
Sensor Equivalent
A display only field in Bullhorn Tool that shows the actual odometer reading of
the index (sensor).
Serial
Unique serial number assigned to the unit at the factory for identification
purposes.
SMS
Short Message Service; text messaging service component of phone, web, or
mobile communication systems. Found on the Bullhorn Tools Hardware Info
window.
