Final tasks
The register sensor is operational again.
Error causes and counter measures
One of the following causes may be the reason for a failed adjustment:
• The lens is soiled and must be cleaned
(
see chapter 11 CLEANING THE LENSES).
• The optical waveguide is defective and must be replaced
(
see chapter 9 REPLACING THE OPTICAL WAVEGUIDE).
• The LED is defective. Replace the complete register sensor

Result display:
If adjustment has been carried out successfully, the
sensing head has steady light for five seconds.
Incorrect adjustment is signalled by slow flashing.
An error message is transmitted by the register
controller. Possible causes are discussed later in
section

If two channels (optical waveguide) are installed, the next
sensing head must subsequently be adjusted (channel 2: red).

Reposition the sensing head in its holder and fasten
by means of the locking screw.
