Never exchange the sensing heads of channel K1 and K2!
Installing the new opti-
cal waveguide(s)
Perform the following operating steps to install a new optical waveguide:
Reinsert the sensing head into the holder. Lock the
sensing head by means of the locking screw.
Guide the optical waveguide through the energy chain
and the optical waveguide holders. Insert the optical
waveguide end part into the optical waveguide
connection.
Use an Allen key to tighten the two Allen screws (width
across flats 1.5 mm) of the optical waveguide end part.
Final tasks:
• After replacing the optical waveguide, always carry out adjustment
(
see chapter 10 ADJUSTMENT OF THE REGISTER SEN-
SOR).
The register sensor is operational again.
