3.9 PRINT 1 Mode (20 mm/sec) ([8] key):
Not Required on the Production Line
Use 24 mm laminate black ink ribbon tape. This inspection checks the print quality
when the print speed is 20 mm/sec.
Be sure to provide power supply of DC9.0V ±0.1V for the inspection from AA battery.
The inspection is not operable without AA battery (or dry cell).
If the installed cassette is not TZe cassette, inspection does not start. (except heat
shrink tube)
Error message: "! Tape Not Detected ! Check if TZe compatible tape is installed
correctly" will be shown when other tape or no tape is installed. Refer to the figure
below for print samples. Tape width should be 6 mm to 24 mm. Only the reception
tape is 3.5 mm wide.
Automatically after printing the display shown in < Figure 3.8-2 > or by pressing the [8]
key, display shown in < Figure 3.9-1 > appears.

After printing, it automatically enters the CUT mode. (Display shown in < Figure 3.10-
