Warning!
If batteries are damaged or
frozen they could heat up when charging and,
in an extreme case, explode.

Never disconnect a battery or
the charger while the charger is connected to
the mains.

It is important for safety that you carry out the
following checks.
Daily or before use
Visually check the Ypush for damage.
Visually check the tyres for damage.
The battery should be fully charged and
locked in position.
Check the operation of the brakes and brake
override levers and if you have any concerns, do
not use the Ypush and contact your dealer.
Keep your Ypush clean by using a damp cloth
and soapy water –
never use a hose or a
pressure washer to clean the Ypush.
Important – Possible faults
As you get used to the Ypush you will get a feel
for how it behaves. If something feels unusual,
for instance the vehicle does not accelerate or
brake smoothly; the vehicle tries to turn to one
side, the brakes are not holding on a slope or the
power-assist functions operates strangely, stop
using the Ypush immediately, contact your deal-
er and explain to the engineer exactly what the
problem is.
Notice:
Return your unserviceable batteries to
your supplier or ensure they are disposed of in
accordance with the environmental regulations
applicable at the time.
Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations
In accordance with the Waste Batteries and
Accumulators Regulations 2009, dealers will
continue to dispose of waste/exhausted batter-
ies in-line with current environmental legislation.
