Accelerator:
The Ypush can be pushed manually
or driven in power-assisted mode.
Power-Assisted mode:
The accelerator thumb
control
5
is actuated using thumb pressure.
Gently press down and the Ypush will accelerate
proportionally until the maximum pre-set speed
is reached. Release and the vehicle will no longer
have power drive. If the attendant releases the
push handles, automatic independent braking will
also be applied.
Forward and reverse control
To switch between
forwards and reverse driving modes, come to a
stand-still and press the grey direction switch
once.
6
In reverse mode, a reversing beep will be
heard. Be very careful that there is ample space
behind you (the attendant) to be able to safely
complete the manoeuvre. If you become worried
at any time simply release the throttle control.
Note:
On start-up the Ypush always defaults to
forward driving mode for safety.
Charging Point:
This is situated underneath the
left hand armrest.
