Electronic Anti-tip System:
The Ypush also
features a unique integrated electronic anti-tip
circuit which cuts power to the motors if the front
wheels leave the ground. If these are triggered
power to the drive system will be suspended
and the red LED will flash/illuminate. Power will
be automatically restored once the front wheels
return to the ground.
22
Foot Bars (x2):
These are fitted to the rear of
the Ypush to allow the attendant to gives some
assistance to lift the front castors briefly to
negotiate an obstacle such as a small kerb.
23
The attendant must apply progressive downward
foot pressure on either of the foot bars to assist
with temporarily lifting the front of the Ypush.
24
Note:
When the front wheels are momentarily off
the ground the red dash LED will flash and main
drive power will be temporarily cut. When the
wheels return to the ground the LED will extin-
guish and the main drive power will be restored.
Follow these steps to adjust the foot bars
correctly:
1
In normal use the footbars should be extended
rearwards - Press the spring button in and

hole

When packing the Ypush into the supplied
Roller Bag it will be necessary to push the
foot bars fully in so that they do not interfere with
or damage the bag as they protrude beyond the
rear wheels when configured for normal use.

Press the spring button and push the bar in
fully. The spring button should now be
protruding out of hole
