Charging with the
battery installed

When you receive your Ypush the battery is only
partially charged – always fully charge it before
use.

Place the Ypush and charger

in an area
that is dry and well-ventilated and within
the charging temperature range stated in the
Technical specification. Make sure a power point
is nearby.

Switch off and remove the ignition key.

Check the mains switch is off. Never connect
or disconnect the charger to the Ypush with
the mains on.

Connect the charger to the charging port.

Connect the mains plug and switch on the
charger.

The charger LED shows red and then changes
to green when the battery is fully charged.
If no battery is connected then the charger will
show green.

During charging we suggest that the charger
wire is lead through the gap in the moulding
and the armrest put in the down position.

When fully charged, switch off the mains and
remove the charging plug from the Ypush. Do
not leave the charger plugged in with the power
off. This may gradually discharge your
battery.
